Trip to the pub?

The Wisemans Bridge Inn is one of the most famous and visited pubs in Pembrokeshire. The good news is it’s a gentle stroll from the Beach Hut down the Miners Walk through the beautiful forest to the sea. The pub sits on the beach and has the most stunning views across the bay.

It has three rooms: a bar, a snug and a large restaurant. The pub grub is good and reasonably priced. There is usually three real ales on the bar as well as the usual wines, ciders and lagers.

It does of course get busy down there in the Summer months but don’t forget you are a local so why not stroll down, make yourself comfortable and book a table! You can take the car and park on the large car park next to the beach.

The Royal Oak Saundersfoot has fine views over the bay in the centre of the village. It has a good range of real beers , lagers and ciders.

Next door is the Tenby Harbwr Bar and Kitchen where you will be served a super choice of food and a fine selection of Tenby Harbwr Ales.

Other pubs in Saundersfoot include The Chemist, The Hean Castle, the Captains Table and The Boat House. All are equally as good and all serve lovely food and a good choice of real ales.

There is also a great choice of restaurants in Saundersfoot including the Marina Fish Chips and More, The Mulberry, Dragons Palace, Pizza Palace, Argus Fish and Chips and the Kook a Ba.

Saundersfoot Sports and Social Club is behind the Regency Hall and has an excellent children’s play area. Visitors are very welcome.

The Old Chemist Inn on the Strand is one of our favourites combining great tasty food, real ale, a log fire for the cold days and stunning sea views from the terrace garden.
The picture here show its direct access to the beach. Much more a locals pub you will find someone to talk to over a pint of the Cambrian Ale or a glass of chilled Pinot Grigio.

Sue’s Pantry on The Strand is famous for its cup cakes and superb cake slices! One things is certain, you will not go hungry or thirsty in Saundersfoot….and if you can cycle or walk there along the Coastal Path from Heritage Park the calories will soon fade away!!!
