DIRECTIONS:

From the Midlands the most direct route is to Leominster and then the road to Brecon. This is a good place for a comfort stop before you take the road onto to Llandovery and then onto Carmarthen. From here simply take the road sign posted for Pembroke Dock. The road to Tenby is the A477 and is close to Heritage Park. Look out for a huge, arched, concrete bridge and the turning for Stepaside is on the left. Take the next left and follow the brown heritage signs to the iron works.

A second option is the M4 to Swansea and then straight on to Carmarthen. Follow the detailed route above.

When you arrive drive over the river, through the gates, up the drive, bear left on the middle lane and the Beach Hut is towards the end on the left. It’s the one with the terracotta roof! Number 74.
